Hurt Sesko to Miss Slovenian National Team Games but United Optimistic of Swift Comeback

Forward Sesko will be absent from Slovenia's forthcoming fixtures against Sweden and Kosovo due to a knee problem suffered during the recent game against Tottenham. However, Manchester United remains hopeful that he could return in time to face the Everton side following the international window.

Injury Particulars and Timeline

The forward had to come off in the 87th minute of the Saturday 2-2 draw with Spurs having been brought on on 58 minutes replacing teammate Mazraoui. Manager Ruben Amorim expressed concern post-match, resulting in Sesko's withdrawal from the Slovenian squad.

The club will carry out further tests at Carrington in the coming days, but initial assessments point to a possible recovery ahead of the Everton match on 24 November.

Additional Squad News

Maguire and Casemiro also had to leave the pitch during the Spurs match. While the defender's status remains unclear, it is believed that the midfielder is fit and has joined international duty with Brazil.

Lisandro MartĂnez, who has not played after a knee injury in February, will join the Argentine squad at their European training camp. However, the defender will not feature in Friday's friendly against Angola at Luanda. A member of United's performance team will accompany the player, who recently resumed work with the first-team group.
